Love my tummy. It is as flat as I could ask for it to be. I even have a mini 4 pack but those bottom two abs...hate me. My waist is a 29. Not so much concerned with the size of my waist but I would do or try almost anything to get the lower abs to rear their ugly head before the end of May. So basically what I am saying is... HELP!
This blog is specifically designed to give the world a peek into the twists and turns of the life of an up and coming Urban Model. It ain't pretty so don't expect a happy ending...yet. In the most random way possible, I present to you The Perfect Imperfections of the Most Known Unknown Urban Model; Emily Camille.

*giggles* Live From the Grind
Does anyone remember the guy I used to tweet about going to the gym and getting some head? Well...that was the man who snuck in on me as I was snapping myself after my workout. He is single now. *rubs hands together*
Probably as close as ill get to Mr. Marcus so...this will have to do.
#PROGRESS: GYM
From now on, I will post my gym pics to my blog vs. My plixi/twitter. Why not pile em all on here? Y'all can watch the progression with me.
North vs. South
I KNOW it has been a while...well, this is my first blog of the year BUT I'm here and will be heavy with the game from now on so expect a daily post from now on.
To kick off my first blog of the year, I want y'all to chime in and tell me what y'all feel about a theory that I've come to know and believe is true. Before we start, there is no right or wrong answer and i want to hear from the men and women so once you read it, please re-post.
Everyone that knows or knows of me know that I am a Southern woman. Born in Texas, raised in Kentucky and fed in Alabama. Out of my 25 years of life, I have met many people from several walks of life. Out of the, possibly, thousands of people that I have met, the ones that have stuck in my memory are from the North and the South.
Now...here is my theory. I believe that it is destined for a Northern man or woman to be with a Southern man or woman in order to be truly happy and equally fulfilled in life. If I made someone mad, my apologies to your feelings. I don't take back what I said but I will explain.
-Women down South are the 'I ran your bath water; would you like a back rub too', "I ironed your shirts for the week', 'Went in at 7, got off at 4, went home & made dinner; collard greens, black eyed peas, rice, baked chicken, cornbread & baked a Peach Cobbler' type women.
-Women from the North are the 'fist in the air', 'what do I look like, your maid', 'I just worked all day, did you really think I was going to come in and slave over a stove for you?' type women.
This is all stereotypical. We know everyone isn't like this so don't be offended
I know for a fact how, as a Southerner, we are raised to be able to take care of ourselves and our family in a more nurturing sense. There was no specific role that we were given; our mothers/fathers/parents taught [men and women alike] how to do EVERYTHING. We were bred to know how to cook, clean, hunt, fish, clean the fish, fix a tire, change the oil, know the difference between a Phillips screwdriver and a monkey wrench; name it, we've been shown how to do it.
Now, we all know that a relationship should be as balanced as possible.
If I were to approach a Southern man & we had the 'what can you bring to the table' conversation...it would not go well because just as I can cook his breakfast, lunch and dinner, so can he. Just as I can iron & wash his clothes, he can do the same thing. He doesn't need me. The shoe would be on the same foot if the roles were reversed because, again, our parents taught us this as we came up.
If I were to approach a Northern man & we had the 'what can you bring to the table' conversation, I would be able to somewhat complete him, being that he was raised to get out and work and probably didn't have what I was given as he came up so, me waking him every morning with breakfast, him coming home to a spotless house, bath drawn and a hot dinner on the table would be 'out of the norm' for him because, again, that's not what a woman that he is used to up North would typically do.
Same thing with the women. If a Southern man was to approach a Northern woman and have that 'what can you bring to the table' conversation, they would most likely complete each other. He doesn't have to ask her to cook. He can cook for her and him. Her tire blew? He knows exactly what to do. That way, he doesn't take her out of her comfort zone and make her conform to a lifestyle that she isn't used to & she can still be the head strong, power 'I GOT IT' woman that she is.
Feel how you want; I can't impress a Southern man because to him, I am just another version of his mother and seriously...no man wants to screw his mother.
Comment. Agree? Disagree? Want to kill me? Say what you feel. Now is the time.

#thickskin
This week, I got the most disturbing call. A good friend of mine in tears and the only thing she could say was ' I quit ' That gut wrenching feeling of regret, remorse and wrath ran through my body in an instant. I vividly remember making that same phone call to a friend of mine years ago. She didn't even have to tell me what happened. I already knew.
"I was at a photoshoot." "He was oiling me up and he stuck his tongue in my ass." "I was posing and another man that I didn't know was coming was standing behind me trying to take pictures with his phone." "Then he felt me up when I never wanted him to touch me in the first place." "The photographer just stood there with his dick hard." "I had to leave because I was in fear of what would happen next."
Imagine that happening to your wife. Girlfriend. Mother. Daughter. How would you feel someone took one of your loved ones out of their comfort zone and violated them. If they don't deserve it, then why do we?
I will never forget. I was at a shoot in Atlanta. Photog gave me no issues on day one. Day two...
he made sure the house was empty. Called me to come shoot again...pressed up against me and had me against a wall. The tears began to fall. I had just seen his wife. Played his his daughter the day before. All I could say is "I don't want to do this." I knew that he would respect my wishes, let me gather my things and let me leave. Never did I expect a well seasoned, well known photographer wipe the tears from my eyes & whisper in my ear " Either give it to me or I'll take it." The tears came even more. I was in an awkward place. Who's to say that I said no again that he wouldnt drag me into his bed room and shoot me and say he caught me stealing. Maybe he would take all of my belongings and kick me out of his studio in the buff...Who would i call? If I couldn't trust this man, who could I trust? Those two minutes changed my life. It changed my outlook on trust. On life.
I want every woman to notice the signs EARLY. I was lucky. The next model may not be.
NEVER GO TO A SHOOT ALONE.
If a photographer cannot respect the fact that you'd rather have an escort for your safety/ trust and tell you that you can have no escort on a shoot, FIND ANOTHER PHOTOGRAPHER.
THICK SKIN. GOTTA HAVE IT IN THIS INDUSTRY. WHAT OR WHO DOESN'T KILL YOU WILL ONLY MAKE YOU STRONGER.

#Random "Say what?"
I am a bartender at a night club in Alabama. One night, while I am walking into my job, I look up and I am staring into the face of my very first boyfriend/the guy who took my...V. Then I looked down and saw how much he had...spread. Well, the club I work at is owned by his family. Being that I had not seen him in at least 4 years, I had failed to tell his people/my co-workers about 'us'. Well, the next day, his aunt pulled me to the side and said, "Do he got a big one?" So, of course I am in a daze from her question and she clues me in (in an auntie manner) of how small he was as a baby and she seriously asked me if it was still small when I got with him. Sadly, it was. I wasn't raised around boys so I didn't know how it worked but if it is small as a baby, apparently, not much changes. I hope he never reads this. If he does...Sorry, she asked. -shrugs-

"...because you are too thick"
I was given the ever so rare opportunity to have a one on one phone conversation with the owner of an Urban magazine today. To make an ever so long excuse short, here is the gist of the conversation: "Emily, you have a great look and an out of this world body but i just can't publish you because it will put me out of business you are TOO thick. There wouldn't be many if any other women out here that would be able to follow in your footsteps so I have to stick to the women that can give me more than one issue. So unfortunately, it would be bad for business on my end to work with you." So, of course I had to ask, "So, in layman's terms, it's more fake big booty girls than real ones and you can't work with the real ones because it would upset the fake ones to the point where they won't work with you?" His reply: "Basically."
It just doesn't pay to be real anymore. Literally.

Racist. #random
I'm at the gym. When I pulled up, I was the only one there so I left my purse in my vehicle. To set up the scenario, all it contained was my license, eye drops and my MAC (makeup). After being in the gym for an hour or so, I go to the front of the building only to notice the POLICE looking in my window and a blonde in her droptop BMW crying her eyes out! So, I go outside and the officer yells at me to open my car. I ask him why and then I hear this girl on the phone in complete hysterics say, "She stole my makeup!" Being the nigga that I can be sometimes, I started to laugh! So, while I am opening my door and pulling out my purse, this bitch runs up behind me and screams to the top of her lungs as if that would hurt me and once again, I laughed in her face yet again. Now, her parents and 2 other police cars have shown up. So, I reach into my purse, pull out the make up and I smear MY NC50 on this hoe's face in every place imaginable. So, now, this crying, screaming, blonde hair, blue eyed 6 foot, beamer driving chick looks as if she had just finished playing in mud. She looks at her mother and THIS heifer says, "I'm not sure if that's your color, honey." #noshit

The Funniest Thing EVER #random
While i was in Montgomery, I went to visit a really good friend of mine that still attends Alabama State. Well, I had been promising him for months that I would come to his house. He's a que so for some reason, I expected the house to look somewhat like the frat house. I walked in and I was highly impressed! Went into his bedroom and stumbled upon the FUNNIEST oxymoron EVER! I never touched it, didn't arrange it like this, this is how I found it. He didn't even realize it until I showed him. #Azmatiq

I always say aint nuthin like a good smelling man but ladies...i am sure these men get tired of smelling body spray and lotion and three for five roll on 'body perfume oils' #nshit
Four words: STEP YO GAME UP
I had 39 bottles of perfume and i noticed that number has dwindled down to...under 10 because of reasons unbeknownst to me SO it is back to the lab.
Armani. #enuffsaid
Wanna take a sniff at what i would smell like if i passed you? Hit your nearest mall or LEGIT perfume store. Niggas havent figured out how to turn this one into a body oil yet. Sowwy.

ALWAYS BE PREPARED #RANDOM
Pour this on a bed and watch a photographers eyes light up. Hell, you may see more than that get happy. For a photog that is serious about his ish...this is eye porn because it offers so many options. Take it from a chick who didnt understand the difference in over and underwhelming. Ok, this is overkill for a day of shopping but this is the idea cuz About a year ago, i solely depended on just having a big butt to push me through to the next round. It pushes more photogs away.
Show up to a shoot underprepared and the photog doesnt care...he just wanted to smash in the first place.
PS-to my fans, friends and stalkers, you see what i like. My po box address is on my site.

Yes? No? Maybe So?
So, i am in Montgomery, Alabama and i decided to hit up this sex shop i used to frequent for many of my outfits to shoot in. As soon as i walked in, they remembered me! It had been over a year since i had been there. Searched around and found this little number. They even discounted me! Kisses and hugs to BG Novelities in the Gump.
